Presentation

Overview
Centrally located in the Falaise area of Avoriaz, Chalet Neva is a spacious private luxury chalet, ski in/ski out from the front door, with 4 bedrooms, 3 ½ bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a private sauna for 8-10 people. Enjoy the spectacular views from the large balcony and panoramic windows. After a day of skiing, relax in its private sauna or snuggle on the comfortable sofas with carpets, thick rugs and cozy throws. Get a great night’s sleep in the comfortable beds with sprung mattresses and super fine Egyptian cotton bedding. With a private ski locker and boot dryers, you can say goodbye to carrying equipment and wet fingers and toes. A variety of shops, restaurants, bakery, ski rental, supermarket and ski school are all within 100 metres. All of our chalets in La Falaise, Avoriaz, are a stone's throw from each other and are great options for booking with friends!

The layout
Arranged over 3 floors with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 toilets, the chalet is particularly suitable for 2 families as each floor has its own double room bunk room and bathroom and there is a 2nd living room perfect for a kids chill-out area complete with its own SMART TV.

Private ground floor entrance leading into hall with boot dryers and ski storage. Hall leads to double bedroom, bunk bedroom, sauna, 2 bathrooms with separate toilet on the ground floor; Stairs lead to the upper floor with a further double bedroom, bunk bedroom, shower room with toilet and the comfortable open plan living area with additional double sofa bed, dining area kitchen and balcony. The private sauna is located on the ground floor. Stairs lead down to the 2nd living room.

Wellness
Chalet Neva has its own traditional Finnish sauna - what better way to relax your legs after a day on the slopes than in your own private sauna.

Kitchen, main living and dining room
The modern fitted kitchen has fully integrated BOSCH appliances, including a large oven, induction hob, microwave, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, raclette machine and Nespresso machine. There is enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for 10 people and a wide range of cooking aids and kitchen utensils. A selection of tea, sugar, coffee, salt, pepper, herbs, foil, dishwasher tablets, cleaning materials and toilet paper are provided.
The chalet is decorated in a cozy modern Alpine style with thick carpets, rugs, cushions and throws to snuggle up in your real home form home while enjoying the stunning mountain views from the panoramic windows and balcony.

Basement Living Room
On the lower ground floor is a 2nd living room complete with sofas and a 2nd SMART TV - perfect for kids to chill out with a movie after a busy day on the slopes.

Wifi and TV
Private high-speed fibre-optic Wi-Fi. 2 SMART 65" & 55" TVs with international cable channels and streaming services so you can a cozy night in catching up with your favourite box set.

Bedrooms
Main floor has 1 double bedroom and 1 bunk bedroom. Top floor has 1 double bedroom and adjoining bunk bedroom (please note the top bunk on this floor has reduced head height due to a sloping ceiling). The beds are all real beds with thick, comfortable pocket-sprung mattresses, Hungarian goose-down duvets and pillows and super-fine Egyptian cotton bedding. Extra-large sofa bed in the living room opens quickly and is fully pre-made. The curtains are super thick with blackout lining so you won't be woken by the morning sun.

Bathrooms
With 3 ½ bathrooms, there will be no rush in the morning. 1 full bath, 3 showers, 2 toilets. Complimentary toiletries are provided in all the bathrooms as our fluffy towels.

Laundry
Washing machine provided.

Balcony / Views
Large south facing balcony with views of the resort and slopes. Secure indoor or outdoor parking available (additional charges and booking recommended).

Children
Cots, high chairs, changing mats and a selection of toys and board games available on request.

Holiday Deposits and Final Payments:

When you make your booking, you must pay a deposit of 25% of the total holiday cost. The second payment of 75% is due 60 days before the date of the holiday. For bookings made within 60 days of arrival the initial payment will be 50% and for bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival the full 100% will be payable.

If the deposit and/or balances are not paid in time we shall be entitled, as agent for the owner/operator, to cancel your booking. If the balance is not paid in time your deposits paid will be forfeited.

Security Deposit Charge:

A security deposit is required to cover against breakage, loss or damage to the property and the furniture/contents and for any goods or services received which are not paid for. This will usually be taken as a pre-authorisation against a valid credit card on or prior to your arrival and, in most cases, no actual charge will be made.

The normal authorised amount is €1,000. Owners/operators reserve the right to increase the Security Deposit for groups under the age of 25 years or to take cash if the credit card is not valid.

In the case of retention, the owner/operator, through us, will explain the charge and the reason for it.  Any dispute in respect of any charges is solely between you and the relevant property owner/operator.

Insurance: 

We strongly recommend that you take out an insurance policy to cover cancellation and/or curtailment. Additionally, under French law you are required to be insured for third party liability, which will generally be included in any travel insurance. If you fail to make appropriate insurance arrangements in a timely manner, neither Chalets Marketing Limited nor the relevant property owner/operator will be liable for any losses or expenses which you may incur for claims which might normally have been covered by insurance in respect of circumstances for which we or the relevant property owner/operator are not responsible. 

Alteration or Cancellation of booking by you:

If you wish to vary your booking in any way, the relevant owner/operator will use reasonable endeavours to meet your request, but it may not always be possible. Requests for alterations must be made in writing by the person who made the booking. You may be charged for any further costs we or the relevant owner/operator may incur or are required to pay in making this alteration, for example if the new booking date is of a different value. 

If you alter any arrangements during your holiday (for example, checking out of the accommodation early) neither we nor the relevant owner/operator will be liable for any expenses you incur, nor will there be any obligation to refund any payment for unused accommodation or services.

If you or any member of your party wishes to cancel the holiday for any reason, the person who made the booking must inform us by letter or email. You will be charged cancellation fees by the owner/operator up to the maximum shown in the table below 

If you are prevented from taking your holiday you may be able to transfer your booking to someone who could have booked the holiday originally, subject to the approval of the relevant owner/operator and any other relevant suppliers. You must give reasonable notice before the check-in date to enable us to change the booking. A 250 Euro transfer fee will apply and you will also be charged for any further costs we or the relevant owner/operator are required to pay in making this alteration.
